What does it mean by giving back to our community?

I grew up in a home with a heart of compassion. Cleaning was part of our daily routine. There were days when I enjoyed cleaning and there were other days when I didn’t, however it was part of life. Today, while I was canvassing for the business, I have noticed some of our residents were elderly folks. I spoke to an elder named Rog. I saw him outside his house getting his mail and he had a bit of physical limitations. I went up to him and said hello. I have explained to what I was doing. I could see in his eyes that he wanted to support my business but was saying he didn’t have money. I told him,“it’s alright Rog, we also do free services to our residents that need it.” He looked at me in disbelief. I can tell he wanted to say yes, but that mentality of paying for services because now in days people have a hard time believing there is “free” services without a price. I told him that part of our values and mission of our company is not always money, but giving back to our neighbors with a free cleaning service, because we care. Whether it was cleaning the kitchen or bathroom, we do one service for free per week. Especially to someone who needs it, it is about the kindness of the heart and the compassion of the soul.

North Bear Waters is more than just a small business, we are family. Family that thinks of others and what we can do to support one another. We do our best to show humility through good honest work and to make sure we impact others with a big smile and believe the hope of humanity being restored.
